The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector came in at 50.9 in June, slightly down from 51 in May, as chip and power supply shortages slowed the expansion of production. And the PMI for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 53.5 in June, down from 55.2 in May, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday. 

6月30日，国家统计局公布2021年6月中国采购经理指数运行情况。6月份，中国制造业采购经理指数(PMI)为50.9%，较上月微落0.1个百分点，继续位于临界点以上，制造业延续稳定扩张态势；非制造业商务活动指数为53.5%，较上月回落1.7个百分点，非制造业扩张力度有所减弱。

China's GDP growth is projected to reach 8.5 percent on a yearly basis in 2021, thanks to the pent-up demand and strong exports, according to the World Bank’s economic forecasts on Tuesday. 

6月29日，世界银行更新了中国经济展望报告。在报告中，由于中国被压抑的内需释放和强劲出口，世界银行将中国今年经济增速预期从8.1%提高到8.5%。

China registered a substantial drop in services trade deficit in the first five months of 2021 with new progress made in structural reform and high-quality trade development, data from the Ministry of Commerce showed Tuesday. Services trade rose 3.7 percent year on year to reach 1.9 trillion yuan (about $300 billion) during the period, with exports up by 20.1 percent year on year to 911.8 billion yuan and imports down 7.5 percent to come in at around 1.03 trillion yuan. 

商务部6月29日发布数据显示，今年前5个月，我国服务贸易进出口总值同比增长3.7%，服务出口增幅大于进口27.6个百分点，带动服务贸易逆差下降67.3%。

建党百年，开创新局：

China established the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in 1980. In 2020, it announced the establishment of Hainan Free Trade Port, which showed how it is opening up further. Hainan has become a hot spot for investment and business. In the first five months of this year, Hainan's actual use of foreign capital has increased by about four times, and imports and exports of goods have increased by 38.5 percent. The central government has made a long-term plan for Hainan Free Trade Port: China will basically establish a free trade port system focusing on trade and investment liberalization and facilitation in Hainan by 2025, which will become more mature by 2035. The country will then build the southern island province into a globally influential high-level free trade port by the middle of this century.

中国在1980年设立深圳等经济特区，到2020年设立海南自由贸易港，表明中国对外开放的大门越开越大。今年前5个月，海南实际利用外资增长了大约4倍，货物进出口增长了38.5%，已经成为投资兴业的热土。中央对海南自贸港的长远规划，有三个重要的时间节点：一是到2025年，初步建立以贸易自由便利和投资自由便利为重点的自由贸易港政策制度体系；二是到2035年，成为我国开放型经济新高地；三是到本世纪中叶，全面建成具有较强国际影响力的高水平自由贸易港。

Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL), China's leading automotive lithium-ion battery maker, on Monday said it has signed a four-year agreement to supply batteries to Tesla, following the signature of a two-year contract in 2020.

6月28日晚间，宁德时代发布公告表示，与特斯拉于25日签署协议，将在2022年1月至2025年12月期间向特斯拉供应锂离子动力电池产品。

Dingdong Maicai, a Chinese online grocery platform, finished its first day on the New York Stock Exchange nearly unchanged after a downsized share sale. Shares of Dingdong opened at $28 and dropped at one point at $22.7, before closing just 0.1 percent up at $23.52 yesterday. 

北京时间6月29日晚间，叮咚买菜正式在纽约证券交易所挂牌上市，此次叮咚买菜上市的发行价为23.5美元/ADS，开盘报28美元，随后一度涨超27%，最高报29.99美元；之后逐渐走低，盘中一度破发，最低至22.70美元。最终较发行价收涨0.1％报23.52美元。

Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing priced its IPO at $14 per share Tuesday evening, raising about $4.4 billion as it sells 288 million American Depository Shares (ADS). This would give the company a valuation of about $67 billion. 

6月30日，滴滴出行将IPO发行价确定为14美元/ADS，位于13-14美元的发行区间价格上限。滴滴预计将发行2.88亿股ADS，以14美元的定价计算，滴滴将募资40.3亿美元，估值将达到671亿美元。

Chinese bubble tea chain Nayuki fell on its Hong Kong trading debut on Wednesday despite a well-received share sale. Shares of the teahouse operator closed at HK$17.12, a 13.5 percent drop from its top-of-the-range offering price of HK$19.8 per share, with a market value of HK$29.4 billion.

“新式茶饮第一股”奈雪的茶今日在香港证券交易所上市。和认购时的热潮截然相反，奈雪的茶开盘即破发，报18.86港元，随后股价一路下跌超过10%，截至收盘跌13.54%，最终收报17.12港元，最新市值为294.32亿港元。

Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, finishing strong the last day of trading in the first half year. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.5 percent, at 3591 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.08 percent higher at 15161 points. The two major indices recorded 3.4 percent and 4.78 percent increase respectively over the past six months. The ChiNext Index rose 2.08 percent to close at 3477 points, a six-year high since June 2015.

6月30日，A股迎来上半年收官战，三大指数集体收涨，其中沪指上涨0.50%，收报3591.20点，上半年累计上涨3.40%；深证成指上涨1.08%，收报15161.70点，上半年累计上涨4.78%；创业板指走势较强，涨幅达到2.08%，收报3477.18点，创2015年6月以来的六年新高。
