The Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) has been running smoothly in its first month of trading, with a significant effect on improving market liquidity and boosting investment sentiment, marking a key step in China's efforts to deepen capital market reform and support small businesses.
Among the 82 shares traded on the market, 11 rallied in the first month, with an average gain of over 100 percent, the exchange said in a statement yesterday. 71 companies shifted their listings from the selection tier of the over-the-counter market known as the New Third Board, and they gained an average of 30 percent in the month.
During the first month, total transactions reached 47.9 billion yuan and market liquidity improved, with the average daily trading volume three times higher than on the selection tier. The average daily turnover of stocks was 1.46 percent, up 0.74 percentage points from the previous level.The daily fluctuation rate narrowed from 25.5 percent on the first trading day to 5.3 percent, as share prices stabilised, and the fluctuation of individual stock prices has reached the expected reasonable range.
Since the launch, investors have shown strong enthusiasm, and more professional institutions have entered the market, according to the exchange. As of Tuesday, the number of qualified investors on the new bourse reached 4.6 million, up 1.7 times before an announcement on September 2 to set up the BSE.
12月15日，北交所开市“满月”，首份成绩单亮眼。首月市场成交478.97亿元，11只新股平均上涨110.84%，合格投资者开户数累计超过460万户。
开市首月，北交所市场运行总体平稳，改革积极效应显著：上市新股集体上涨，专业机构积极入场，投资者入市意愿增强；新三板创新层、基础层受到带动，交投活跃度得到有效改善。
从市场表现看，11只北交所新股上市首月集体上涨，平均涨幅为110.84%。9月2日设立北交所的消息宣布以来，71只平移股票平均涨幅接近30%。
北交所数据显示，11月15日至12月14日，北交所成交额合计为478.97亿元。股票日均成交量较原精选层增加3.07倍，股票日均换手率较原精选层提高0.74个百分点，符合中小市值股票流动性特征。
北交所股票日均振幅由开市首日的25.51%降至5.28%，股价逐渐趋于平稳；个股波动在预期的合理范围内，价格走势较平稳，市场定价功能进一步完善。
开市首月，投资者参与北交所市场的热情较高。北交所提供的数据显示，截至12月14日，北交所合格投资者开户数超460万户，较消息宣布前增加约1.7倍。

The Chinese economy maintained a steady recovery last month, with major macro indicators staying within a reasonable range, the National Bureau of Statistics(NBS) said on Wednesday. Industrial output, a key economic indicator, rose by 3.8 percent year-on-year in November, up from 3.5 percent in October. Retail sales grew by 3.9 percent on a yearly basis last month, compared with 4.9 percent in October.
11月份国民经济继续恢复，实体经济稳中有升：国家统计局今日公布数据显示，11月份，规模以上工业增加值同比实际增长3.8%，比2019年同期增长11.1%，两年平均增长5.4%。11月份，社会消费品零售总额41043亿元，同比增长3.9%；比2019年11月份增长9.0%，两年平均增速为4.4%。
China continued to see its housing market ease in November under strengthened market regulations, the NBS said. New home prices in four first-tier cities stood unchanged, while second- and third-tier cities saw an average month-on-month decline of 0.35 percent.
11月楼市再降温：国家统计局数据显示，11月份，70个大中城市商品住宅销售价格环比延续下降态势，同比涨幅持续回落。据测算，11月份，4个一线城市新建商品住宅销售价格环比持平。31个二线城市新建商品住宅价格环比均下降0.4%，35个三线城市新建商品住宅销售价格环比下降0.3%。
China Mobile, the country's largest wireless carrier by revenue, plans to issue about 845.7 million A-shares to raise 56 billion yuan, after receiving approval from regulators to list in Shanghai.
“万亿巨头”回A在即：12月14日凌晨，上交所官网显示，中国移动更新了A股上市招股意向书，A股近十年最大规模IPO将至。三大通讯巨头之一的中国移动近日IPO获批，拟募资金额约为560亿元，较中国电信540亿元的募资金额还要高。
Chinese smartphone vendor Oppo unveiled its first self-developed chip on Tuesday, joining the ranks of international peers to have more control over its own semiconductor design. The chip MariSilicon X is a neural processing unit (NPU), which can assist in enhancing images by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence.

Chinese biotech company BeiGene plunged on its Shanghai debut on Wednesday after raising $3.5 billion in the biggest STAR Market listing this year. BeiGene, which posted consecutive years of losses, tumbled more than 20 percent in early trading, before dropping 16.42 percent in closing.
百济神州破发，中一签亏1.6万：15日，生物医药科技龙头百济神州科创板上市首日破发。这只今年发行价第三高的科创板新股，开盘即大跌8.12％，早盘跌幅一度逼近20％。今天最终收报160.98元/股，收跌16.42%。以收盘价粗略计算，中一签百济神州亏损约15810元。
Shares of Shimao Group and its property-services unit tumbled Tuesday to an all-time low. The plunge came after reports that some buyers found that they could not get delivery of houses in Shanghai from the developer. Shimao also announced the sale of its property management assets to Shimao Services on Monday, and JP Morgan downgraded both stocks over a "corporate governance red flag."

Chinese finance minister Liu Kun has called for deeper reforms to the country's property tax regime in a bid to strengthen demand-side management and stabilise the real estate market. Liu, speaking at a parliamentary standing committee meeting, said more work on pilot regional tax reforms was still required before new national legislation was rolled out.
12月14日，中国人大网发布财政部部长刘昆在10月19日第十三届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第三十一次会议上对《关于授权国务院在部分地区开展房地产税改革试点工作的决定（草案）》的说明。刘昆指出，进一步深化房地产税改革试点，可以发挥试点对整体改革的示范、突破、带动作用，强化房地产调控需求侧管理，稳定市场预期，也为今后全国统一立法积累经验、创造条件。

Chinese stocks closed lower on Wednesday with the Shanghai Composite down 0.38 percent and the Shenzhen Component ended 0.73 percent lower. The Hang Seng Index lost 0.91 percent, dragged by the tumbling biotech and tech sectors.
周三A股三大指数收跌，创业板指跌0.87%，沪指跌0.38%，深成指跌0.73%，电力板块逆市走强。港股恒生指数收跌0.9%，生物医药类股大跌，大型科技股偏普跌。
