In an exclusive interview with SFC, Ivan Gonzalez, CEO Reinsurance China and China Country President at Swiss Re, expressed confidence in China's role as a pivotal market for the company. He stated, "Based on the enormous opportunities we see in the market, China will continue to be a crucial strategic market for Swiss Re."

Having established its presence in China over 20 years ago, Swiss Re sees the country as a key strategic market, especially with the anticipated doubling of the insurance market in the next decade. Gonzalez highlighted the importance of supporting China's high-quality development and emphasized the company's focus on areas such as aging population, natural disasters, agriculture, and sustainable development, positioning Swiss Re as a vital player in China's modernization efforts.
