The 2023 Understanding China Conference officially kicks off today in Guangzhou. Zheng Bijian, Founding Chairman of China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, said during the opening ceremony, there is a serious "understanding deficit" among different countries and civilizations. Zheng stressed, through sustained efforts, we will be able to reduce the "understanding deficit". If we can achieve this, it will be a blessing for China and the world.
