SFC Markets and Finance｜Christopher Thomas: U.S., China have lots of academic collaboration in AI

At the 2023 Understanding China Conference, Christopher Thomas, a senior fellow at Brookings Institution, told SFC reporter that there’s a lot of collaboration and mutual understanding of artificial intelligence between the U.S. and China. Despite rapid developments in AI, Thomas noted that we still have a lot to do in terms of AI regulations.
