Boao 2024｜Shahid Khaqan Abbasi: China is playing a more significant role in global issues

At the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Prime Minister of Pakistan pointed out that China is having a growing voice in new politics. For instance, in the Gaza crisis, China is a big factor in the UN Security Council passing the resolutions. Furthermore, he also mentioned CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) will have more projects implemented, which he hopes the process of the Belt and Road Initiave will accelerate.
