Grow Together｜Guangdong's Journey into Africa

The 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit is currently underway in Beijing from September 4th to 6th. Themed "Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future," leaders from China and Africa are meeting to strengthen their bonds and outline collaborative initiatives.

This gathering marks a significant occasion in the ongoing partnership between China and Africa, continuing a tradition of important summits previously held in Beijing in 2006, Johannesburg in 2015, and Beijing again in 2018. It is also one of the largest diplomatic events hosted by China in recent years, with a record number of foreign leaders in attendance.
