"To me, the key characteristics of Chinese modernization are the societal migration from the old and the stale, to the new and the exciting,"observed Harvey Dzodin, former legal advisor in the Carter administration and senior fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, reflecting on his two decades living in China.
Dzodin highlighted the relentless pursuit of innovation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. "They never stop innovating," he noted, drawing inspiration from Peter Drucker, the renowned Austrian management consultant. "Drucker once said that the best way to predict the future is to create it. Chinese modernization is doing exactly that."
