2024 Belt and Road Summit | Nicholas Ho: Partnerships Are Key to Hong Kong's Role as a Regional Hub

The 2024 Belt and Road Summit, which will be held from September 11 to 12, centers on the theme of "Building a Connected, Innovative, and Green Belt and Road."

In an interview with an SFC journalist, Nicholas Ho, the Commissioner for Belt and Road, pointed out that while Hong Kong serves as a regional hub and is capable in many areas, there are still some things it cannot accomplish on its own. Therefore, Hong Kong has built long and stable partnerships with countries from Singapore to various ASEAN regions. Additionally, Hong Kong works closely with other cities in the Greater Bay Area and different parts of the Chinese mainland.

"We believe that through collaboration, positive competition, and cooperation, we can work better together, and that is how Hong Kong has transformed over the years," he expressed.
