南方财经全媒体记者施诗 杨雨莱 海口报道
China and ASEAN have made new progress in economic and trade cooperation. On October 10, China and the ten ASEAN countries announced that they had substantially concluded the negotiations for the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (FTA) 3.0.
"Upgrading it to the 3.0 level would enable even more free trade between China and ASEAN countries." Kirida Bhaopichitr, the research director for International Economics and Development Policy and the director for TDRI Economic Intelligence Service conducted an interview with SFC journalist during "The 90th International Forum on China Reform", which is being held in Haikou from November 2 to November 3 of 2024.
Kirida Bhaopichitr also considered that China and Thailand are more integrated in trade and investments which will benefit not only the two countries but the entire supply chain of Southeast Asia.
