2025 is an unique year. The world is under the shadow of protectionism and needs to seek more opportunities for cooperation.
In terms of China-Russia relationship, Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said “it's a very productive and fruitful relationship” in a Dialogue with SFC recently.
“It's very fast developing,” Overchuk added. In 2020, “our whole trade was over 100 billion dollars.” But in 2024, it’s close to 245 billion dollars.
Looking into the future, “there is a desire on both sides to explore opportunities for expanding those ties. Corporates can work together to improve the standards of people in our countries,” Overchuk emphasized.
