The Insight | Hong Kong team leader praised Maoming's food and weather as "very easy to adapt to"
The orienteering finals for the masses of China's 15th National Games kicked off on May 8 in Maoming, South China's Guangdong Province. The event marks the first mass sports competition of the 15th National Games, and features six major competitions, including orienteering for men's and women's teams, relay races, and radio direction finding team competitions, attracting 438 athletes and over 500 technical officials and support staff from 23 provinces (including autonomous regions and cities) across the country as well as the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
TAM Wing-chung, Leader of the Hong Kong Delegation for Orienteering and Radio Direction Finding at the Mass Sports Events of China's 15th National Games, praised Maoming's food and weather as "very easy to adapt to" during an interview with SFC, and pointed out that the event presented him with an excellent opportunity to understand the unique characteristics of various cities in the Greater Bay Area.
