The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area-Africa (Egypt) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference kicked off in Cairo. The trade between Guangdong and Egypt is growing fast. The bilateral foreign trade value rose from 16.857 billion yuan in 2015 to 23.19 billion yuan in 2024, accounting for about one fifth of the total foreign trade between China and Egypt. The trade story between Guangdong and Egypt is just getting started. At the conference, 30 cooperation projects are reached, with a total value of $1.86 billion.  

From Pear River to Nile, from ancient connection to modern trade cooperation, the relationship between Guangdong and Egypt grows richer with time, like a fine wine.
