Nathan Blecharczyk, the Co-Founder and CSO of shared accommodation platform Airbnb shared his insights on Chinese tourism market in the interview with SFC journalist. He stated that Chinese travelers are a real force, ranking among the top spenders on accommodation worldwide, and the number is only going to increase.

Recently, Airbnb announced a series of significant strategic upgrades in Los Angeles, USA, aimed at transforming from a single accommodation booking platform to a comprehensive travel service provider. Nathan Blecharczyk expressed that nearly 95% of Chinese respondents indicated that they would book the experience programs when traveling. So he considered the new services will be a valuable way to enhance the travel for Chinese travelers.
