Brunei looks forward to growing together with Guangdong｜ASEAN Eyes on Guangdong

Pengiran Fakhrullah, the Secretary-general of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam shared his insights on Guangdong's development during the 2025 China(Guangdong)-ASEAN Trade Promotion And Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism Development Coordination & Exchange Conference.

He pointed out that Guangdong is one of  China's most dynamic economic regions, with strengths in advanced manufacturing, digital technology, clean energy and logistics. “For Brunei, Guangdong represents an ideal partner not just for trade, but for technology transfer, capacity building and market expansion.” 

In recent years, more and more Guangdong enterprises invested in Southeast Asia. Fakhrullah welcomed Guangdong enterprises and saw a growing interest in different areas such as agriculture, halal food and smart services.
