“Cambodia is in the early stage of agricultural production restructuring and development, while China's advanced experience in organizing production is well worth learning from for Cambodia," H.E. PRAK David, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia, told SFC at the 2025 International Conference on Agricultural Service Trade in Nansha.
PRAK stated that the conference has demonstrated the new technological frontiers of international agricultural trade to countries around the world. Currently, ASEAN countries and China have carried out a number of cooperations in agricultural trade, including the coordination of mutual recognition of trade standards, the development of product traceability and quarantine systems, and the establishment of transportation cold chains and market access standards.
"Cambodia is maintaining close cooperation with relevant Chinese authorities to ensure more of its qualified agricultural products are exported to China," PRAK said.
About 200 domestic and foreign guests gathered at the 2025 International Conference on Agricultural Service Trade held on Tueday in Nansha, Guangzhou, to discussed the future trends and cooperation opportunities in global agricultural service trade.
