Zhuhai's Prime Location Fuels Sports Passion Among Hong Kong and Macao Cyclists

On November 18th, the Executive Committee for the Guangdong Division of China's 15th National Games held a press conference at the Games' main press center in Guangzhou, introducing the sports characteristics of five cities: Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Zhanjiang and Maoming. The event featured a variety of interactive activities that allow attendees to fully appreciate the unique sporting charm of these five cities.

Zhongming Tan, President of the Zhuhai Cycling Association, stated that China's 15th National Games' cross-border cycling race offered an extraordinary viewing experience. He emphasized that the event significantly promoted Zhuhai's cycling culture by showcasing its excellent infrastructure. Tan added that Zhuhai's convenient location makes it an ideal destination for cyclists from Hong Kong and Macao to participate in cycling activities. Many cross-border cyclists choose to train in Zhuhai because its roads are well-suited for intensive group training, such as long-distance night rides and weekend training sessions, which are crucial for improving their performance.
