EV Exports Boom! APEC Journalists Spoke Highly of Chinese EVs

In March this year, China’s new energy vehicle exports hit 349,000 units, surging 140% year-on-year to a record monthly high. Chinese automakers led by BYD are accelerating global expansion and steadily capturing worldwide markets. Reporters from APEC economies also showed great familiarity and interest in Chinese electric vehicles during their visit on April 23.

Disthan Kornkit from The Better (Thailand) shared that multiple large-scale BYD manufacturing bases have been built across the country. BYD has become one of the top-selling automotive brands in Thailand and Chinese EVs are widely favored by local residents.
