SFC TALK｜John Ross: The essence of the BRI is to promote the development of every country

In the interview with SFC, John Ross, the former director of economic and business policy for the mayor of London said that the BRI has got more than 150 countries which have now joined it. These countries wouldn't join it unless they thought it a very good idea. The number of the countries joining BRI speaks for itself.

Going along with the trend of the times as Chinese people like to say. What's happening at the moment in the world is the Global South economies are growing more quickly than the Global North economies. And therefore Chinese aid in the economic expansion of the most rapidly growing part of the world economy is going to continue not merely this year, or not even for next 5 years but next 20 or 30 years at least.
